Limitations of the windows 7 starter version is that it can only run three applications at a time. Thus multi -tasking above three applications is not possible.
This version will not have Aero glass graphical user interface and only comes in 32 bit windows version.
Windows 7 Home Basic
The Windows 7 Home Basic version has all the features of windows 7 starter and was designed for users in developing countries along with windows 7 starter. Windows 7 Home Basic provides a better graphical experience compared to that of starter version. It gives you the ability to run more than three applications at once and also comes in 32 bit and 64 bit version. It gives you the ability to access windows mobility center and provides you with a better graphics and internet connection sharing.
Windows 7 Home Premium
Windows 7 Home Premium has all the features of previous two versions and adds a little more extra to it. This windows version includes the Aero glass GUI, supports multi touch, home group creation and also includes the media center. Windows 7 Home Premium also gives the ability to watch and record Tv on the PC, to create DVDs and also supports premium games.
This version of windows is meant for regular home users.
Windows 7 Professional
The Professional version of windows 7 comes with all the features of Home Premium and provides you the ability of networking and data protection, supports backup to another network and has location aware printing, which allows you to connect to printer at work and home.
This version of windows 7 can be used in small business market.
Windows 7 Enterprise
The Enterprise version of windows 7 is not available for everyone. This version is only provided to companies or businesses through volume licensing. Enterprise has all the features of windows 7 Professional but also supports additional security and networking features like direct access, bitlocker, applocker, branch cache and more.
Windows 7 Enterprise is available in bulk only to business and companies.
Windows 7 Ultimate
